Sick Policy

Please do not send your child to school when he or she is sick. The following are some required guidelines that should be used when deciding to send your child to MDO after he or she has been ill:
  1. Child has had NO fever for 24hrs.
  2. Child has NO green or yellow mucus and has been taking an antibiotic for at least 48hrs.
  3. Child complains of earache or headache.
  4. Child vomits or has diarrhea or continually complains of stomachache.
  5. Child displays any other signs of illness.

The same rules apply during hours of operation. If your child exhibits symptoms that are listed above, they will be sent home to your care. Once they are sent home, they may not return for 24hrs (e.g. If your child is sent home MDO on Thursday, they may not return on Friday because of the 24hr rule).
