Recreation Policy

2012 First Assembly Memphis Recreational Sports Policy Goal: our goal is to provide a Christian atmosphere for all of the children on our teams.We invite everyone to sign up, and hope that our children will encourage their school friends and neighbors to come and play.

Location: We are located at 8650 Walnut Grove Rd. Cordova, Tn. 38018 (1 mile east of Germantown Parkway).

Registration: As of this year, 2012, all registration, for every sport event we offer, will be on line. Click on the sport you want to register for, then click on on-line registration-click here, and the form will appear. Fill it in for all of your children and pay all at one time with e-check or credit card.

Recreation Refund Policy: If your child cannot play the sport you have signed him/her up for, a full refund minus a $10 refund processing fee will be allowed prior to the registration deadline. When our registration time is over, refunds will not be made.

Zero Tolerance: First Assembly Memphis strictly observes a no tolerance policy to the attitudes and behaviors of those coaching, participating, spectating, or in any way associated with our recreation activities. This policy is to ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all of our children.

Coaching and volunteer applications: all prospective coaches and volunteers must apply yearly prior to working with our children and this application includes a background check. This yearly application will include all sports for that year. This policy includes all ages of children from preschool to high school.

Authorization, Insurance Release and Agreement: All sports carry risks. First Assembly Memphis will not be responsible for any injury that you or any of your family members may incur while playing any of the sports we offer. In order to play you must agree to participate at your own risk and not pursue any claim against First Assembly or any person affiliated with First Assembly Memphis.
