It sounds good when you are selling gloves and hats, but it does not work in ministry.  First Assembly offers many areas of ministry and involvement for everyone who has a desire to get involved through service or grow through fellowship.

Whether it is an outreach to inner city kids, a program to share the gospel or a men’s group that meets weekly to discuss how they can be better husbands, fathers and employees, the adult ministries department has it covered.  If you want a place to serve and a place to fit in, there is an area waiting for you.  If we were selling hats or gloves, then we would only need one kind, one size and one price.  Since we are dealing with hearts, lives and ministry gifts, we offer a wide variety.

All areas have a few basic similarities that you can expect.  Each ministry area is open to anyone desiring to become a part.  Secondly, you will find friendly, understanding and loving people, no matter what area you find yourselves.  Finally, every area has the common goal of helping each person to move forward in the pursuit to become the person Christ has intended them to be.
